TAMESIS OFFSHORE RALLY 1st August

JACK’S 41st TRIP
THE TAMESIS OFFSHORE RALLY

SATURDAY, 1st August 2015

This year’s rally is for the Offshore Cup, originally presented by the late Jack Tuson, will take place on the day that Tamesis Club will be inaccessible due to the all day cycling event that will close so many of the roads in Kingston and Richmond.

The 10 mile course for the cruising boats will probably run from Gleeds outside Portsmouth to a suitable mark near Hamble Point, aiming to finish shortly before low tide at 1800 BST, weather permitting.

After the rally we will gather at Warsash for an informal meal either in the Rising Sun pub or at Warsash SC if it can be arranged. Warsash is an easy drive down the A3, parking is easy and I hope that non-sailing members will join.

Fuller and better details will be circulated soon; but let me know if you can come in the evening, or better, take part in the rally.

Please put the date in your diary.
