Tamesis has a dining room that can seat 100 people, a bar, changing rooms, showers and toilets.  A hot lunch, sandwiches, coffee and tea are available every Sunday and supper is served on Thursday evenings throughout the summer and on the first and third Thursdays of the month in the winter.  Large picture windows in the centrally-heated dining room provide excellent views of the sailing and lawns next to the river offer an attractive picnic and play area in the summer for families with children.  The club can be hired by members for private functions like birthday parties and wedding receptions. 

There are riverside moorings between jetties for the larger boats, a boat  park for over 100 dinghies, undercover storage for 50 craft in boat sheds, a trailer park and parking for 40 cars, with more than 100 spaces in an adjacent public car park.
