Peter Simpson has kindly agreed to tell us all about the Kempton Steam Museum and the project to renovate the world’s largest working triple expansion steam pumping engine. These engines once pumped 19 million gallons of water to North London, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from installation in 1927 through to decommissioning in 1980.
Supper is bangers, mash and onion gravy – followed by tarte tatin & cream. £10pp. Sign up in the Clubhouse or email firstname.lastname@example.org
