Jeremy Vines overall winner of ISC rating system yachts in Round the Island Race

LPB25281JeremyVineaRTItrophiesJeremy Vines was the overall winner of the Island Sailing Club’s ISC rating system entry as well as winning Group 5 and Division 5C in his Dufour 34 Pickle (GBR9585T) in the Club’s annual race round the Isle of Wight on Saturday 27 June. Jeremy and his crew took seven hours and 17 minutes to sail the 50 mile course in a moderate westerly wind. They beat the second boat in their division by more than 15 minutes. More than 680 boats took part in the ISC entry and 1,580 boats on the race overall.
At the prize giving ceremony on Sunday 28 June Jeremy and his crew were presented with the Silver Gilt Roman Bowl and the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Salver as overall winners of ISCRS and the Jimmie Read Memorial Cup as winner of ISC Division 5C. Jeremy was crewed by Max Vines, Ben Vines, Jonathon & Beverley Johns, Robert Jardine, Gary Impett and Rick Otten.
