I am really pleased to introduce the new updated Tammy Matters newsletter!
The new newsletter now includes:
- All the latest news posts from the Tamesis Club website
- Details of coming events at the club
- Race results
- …and a convenient link to Dutyman duties for the next few months
- To read a full post simply click/tap on the post’s picture to take you to the full article on the website.
- Use the square Top, News, Events, and Results ‘jump buttons’ to zip to different sections in the newsletter.
We really hope you like this new format which will now be sent out automatically from the website every Tuesday morning at 7am (especially for all you commuters!). We are also hoping that the new format will encourage more people to write posts and indeed increase sailing competitiveness through race results bragging rights!
Updates of series tables will be added in due course, as well as other features. This is also the first use of this new newsletter feature so please bear with us if you spot any niggles!
Many thanks to Kaan Yargici for developing this tool, which will be very useful, and certainly make my life much easier.
A reminder to book your meal for Thursday evening – e mail Jo Carstens – firstname.lastname@example.org. Menu is lasagne and salad followed by cheese cake. £10 pp.
Don’t forget there will be no 1030 handicap race this Sunday as we are holding the Cutty Sark Bolt handicap pursuit race – details in the Events section further below. Competitors are asked for a £5 which goes to the Cutty Sark/Royal Museum Greenwich.
The Teddington Village Fair will take place on Sunday 24th June at Udney Park Gardens from noon to 5pm. We are hoping to have a stall again this year, represented by Matthew Dalton’s firefly. Tim Medcalf has kindly agreed to take Matthew’s boat up in his absence. It would be great to have other members support him and Ed. I will be going along as well. Please could you e mail me on email@example.com if you can help
See you at the club.
