We had a lovely day sailing today, despite the dodgy forecast. See the pictures and comments in the post below. The sailing students are now starting racing, and Simon Thompson had a succesful day in the RYA Powerboat training.
The Charity Bridge Drive held on Sunday afternoon in aid of Help for Heroes raised £826. A fantastic result. There were twelve tables. The Tamesis Bridge Club hold a Bridge Drive twice a year, proceeds going to charity. They also hold a raffle, which is open to everyone. Thanks go to Margaret Stokes for all the immaculate organisation.
Margaret Stokes is anxious to retrieve the packs of cards and several bidding boxes and that recently disappeared from the bridge cupboard.
