Thursday Evening, G.W. Smith Trophy, Race 8
Getting close to the end of this year’s Series – how many will qualify and who will prevail? John Adams’ report with the results appears in News.
Sunday A blisteringly hot day with little wind. A torrid time for the two N18s competing in the long-distance Claude Russell Cup race.
Fowey Regatta. Alan Hall took part in the regatta in his Fowey River and came 8th overall.
Monday 26th August was the Summer Bank Holiday and the day of the Bank Holiday Pursuit Race. See what happened below.
This Week 26th August to 1st September
Thursday Evening Sailing and Supper. G.W. Smith Trophy, Race 9 (of 9) on Thursday. The last of this summer’s evening races and since the light fades earlier at this time of year we have brought the start times forward by 15 minutes. Main fleet start at 7:oo, N18s at 7:02. Supper afterwards.

Minima YC Regatta – Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1t September – see poster and NOR further down the page.
Sunday Racing. 10:30 Handicap race followed by Summer Series 18 Class races.

The Commodore’s Barbeque All Club members and their families are invited to this. Let’s hope that the weather stays fine – but maybe a little less hot than this last Sunday. Large portion £7. Small portion £5.

We are approaching the Regatta Season. On Saturday, 14th September, the A Raters arrive for the annual Braganza Bowl and Yates Cup Trophies. The Tamesis Autumn Regatta will be held the same weekend and Notices for this event will be posted on the website.
