Back onshore the Bridge Group held their annual Help for Heroes Bridge Drive, raising £822 to go to the charity. Thanks to Colin and Margaret Stokes and helpers for organising this very successful event.
Annual Prize Giving and Dinner
Saturday 23rd November. We are on the countdown to the Annual Prize Giving and Dinner. The punters are signing up, including several families which is great to see. All are welcome, the more the merrier. We are using an outside chef this year, and the main menu is as follows:
H.Formans Smoked Salmon, London Sourdough, Celeriac and Lemon Remoulade, Land Cress”
“Corn Fed Chicken supreme, Chanterelle and Madeira veloute, Kale, Sautéed potato, Mustard Frills, Chive Oil”

There will be a vegetarian option – which MUST be requested in writing please to avoid disappointment
‘Childrens’ menu for under 18 will be
Lasagne followed by ice creams/sauces – again very important we have numbers for this – £10 per head.

Sunday 17th November – normal racing – 1030 handicap followed by class racing from 1115, and of course lunch and drinks at the bar.
