A few hardy paddlers donned their festive accessories for the first Tamesis Santa SUP and had a wonderful paddle out. Using the shelter of Trowlock Island for the journey out, and sailing/surfing back with the wind on the return journey, it was a lovely trip in challenging but fun conditions, and a good chance to practice some skills tackling windy weather.
Once safely back to the warmth of the clubhouse, they enjoyed hot driks and a well earned slice of Christmas cake.
Thanks to our SUP Captain Leah Fraser for organising the trip, for writing the report and the pictures. Thanks to Tim Medcalf for the cover picture.
