Tamesis Club

Club Supper Talk – 14th November

Suzette Dela Vega-Edmondson is a member of Tamesis and has very kindly agreed to come and tell us about the development of the iconic Battersea Power Station site.

Suzette Dela Vega-Edmondson is an Associate Director at Mace working on the iconic Battersea Power Station project as lead for project controls; covering risk, change, cost, reporting and information management for the £1.7bn development.  She will be talking about the power station’s development journey, its current progress, the project’s challenges and how the team are employing both traditional and modern methodologies to address these challenges. She will share the owners’ vision for the development and how it will contribute to the wider Nine Elms regeneration.

Please sign up in the Clubhouse or email Nicky on nickyjohnsontamesis@gmail.com.  This is really important so we can gauge numbers for supper.  Don’t forget that the evening is open to all so bring family and friends with you but don’t forget to sign them up too.

Tamesis Club featured in the south West Residents’ Journal

We’re thrilled to have a rather glorious cover photograph and a double-page spread about learning to sail at Tamesis Club in the August issue of the south west Residents’ Journal. On a windy Wednesday morning,  instructor Eric Finlayson and club commodore Stewart Colley showed journalist Jennifer Mason the ropes and it appears she had a thoroughly good time (and even avoided a dunking). Turn to page 20 of the magazine to read the full feature (copy in the club house).
