The club was able to hold racing on Sunday, albeit the 1030 Blue series had to be cancelled due to the strength of the stream, and uncertain wind strength. The White Series races took place from 1130 helped by a stronger Westerly with some North in it, over a very short course loop course set in sight of the club.

Turn outs were lower than usual. Seven Merlins started and finished, some being lapped over the eight rounds. The leader got away, but the race was finally won by Andy Harris and Lyra Wade in Crescendo, Ken Duffell and Joe Woods in Avenger second, John and Zoe Adams in Saltarello second, and Peter Impey and Carlos in War Horse were third. The leader was disqualified after a protest under Rule 42.

Robin Broomfield and Paul Bloomfield in Two Bees were first in the Enterprises, Alex Cane and Diane Keighley in Alannah were second.

Ilker Sener was first in the ILCAs and Mattie Valentine second.

Everyone gathered in the clubhouse afterwards for a drink and a sandwich, relieved to have got at least one race in.

Thanks to OOD Brendan Hills, Box Assistants Mark Gardner and Carolyne Vines, Patrol Boat Driver and Crew Ron Williamson and Lindsey Martin.
