Club facilities

Tamesis Club has extensive facilities that cater for all aspects of sailing, as well as for social events and big occasions.

The clubhouse can accommodate up to 100 diners, and has a well stocked bar which is open for all race days and evening events.

For sailors there are changing rooms and hot showers. After racing, lunch is available in the clubhouse. Coffee and tea are available whenever the Club is open. Supper is served on Thursday evenings from May to the end of August.

The clubhouse, which is centrally heated, has large windows all along the river front providing excellent views of the river. The clubhouse has a veranda facing onto a lawn which offers an attractive picnic and play area in the summer for families with children.

There is a separate dedicated Junior/Training room with a view over the river from its balcony

The Club has a boat park for over 100 dinghies, undercover storage for about 50 craft in boat sheds, a trailer park and parking for 50 cars, with more spaces available in the adjacent public car park.
