RYA Youth Courses: Stages 1 to 4 and Advanced Modules
Our RYA youth courses are the perfect way for young sailors aged 8-15 to get out on the water, learn new skills and enjoy a fantastic week of fun and adventure. Whether they are stepping into a boat for the first time or already confident on the water, children will make friends, grow in confidence and discover just how exciting sailing can be.
We teach all RYA Stages 1 to 4, along with Advanced Modules for those who already hold Stage 4 and want to develop their skills further. Every day brings new challenges, new achievements and plenty of time afloat, all in a safe and supportive environment.
Children arrive at 08:30 and are ready for collection at 18:00, with slightly shorter hours in October. These extended hours offer great flexibility for working parents and give our sailors more time on the water, more social time with friends and a fuller camp experience compared with many centres. The hours for our October course are 09:00 to 17:00.
With higher staffing ratios than the RYA recommends, our small groups allow for lots of individual attention, tailored coaching and a friendly atmosphere where every child feels included and valued. It is not just about learning to sail. It is about gaining confidence, independence and a lifelong love of being on the water.

17th - 21st August (five days): RYA Stages 1 to 4 and Advanced Modules - places available.
24th - 28th August (five days): RYA Stages 1 to 4 and Advanced Modules - places available.

Cancellation Policy
Bookings on training courses are only confirmed once the club is in receipt of the relevant paperwork and full payment has been made.
A full refund will be provided if a written request for cancellation is received within 14 days of the booking being confirmed and at a point more than 30 days before the start of the training.
In the event of a cancellation being requested after the initial 14 days period, Tamesis Club will provide a full refund if a suitable replacement trainee is found either by the club or the cancelling party (the club tries to support this process by operating a waiting list but can not guarantee to be able to find a replacement).
In the event that a course participant, through illness or otherwise, missed the start of (or any other part of) a course, Tamesis Club is under no obligation to offer completion of the course or any refund or to transfer the booking.
Tamesis Club reserves the right to vary course details, dates and prices without prior notice.
