Discover Sailing Open Day 2024

The weather was beautiful the sun shone, there was enough wind to create a bow wave, and the club was crowded with visitors and members alike. Lots of smiles and happy people.

Visitors responded to various different forms of marketing and showed up on the day. Sixty five plus went out for a sail, enjoyed the cakes, juice, tea and drinks from the bar, and generally had a great time. The club was absolutely buzzing.

The Juniors were out sailing as part of their regular Saturday session which provided entertainment for those not on the water.

Thanks to all the volunteers marketing, registering visitors, taking visitors out, chatting to visitors and generally showing off our great club.
