Hurrah! For the first time in many weeks we were able to run some good racing on Sunday 18th December. Race Officer Stewart Colley set course L. In the Blue Series, Alexey Anatskiy headed the Laser class. Joe Woods crewed by Ken Duffell and Charles Fox crewed by Robert Blakeborough were the sole Merlins and N18s.

In the White Series Christmas Pudding race Jon Redding won ahead of Ilker Sener in the Lasers. Richard Harris crewed by Emma McDonald won the Merlins, as usual lapping several other boats. Peter Bide and Peter Johnson appeared in an Enterprise and Charles and Robert again represented the N18s.

Tinsel and Santa hats were in evidence. Most of those on the water collected a Christmas pudding or other festive prize in the bar afterwards.
