The day dawned nice and bright, and the stream speed had dropped, but not enough. Racing was cancelled again, very disappointing, but the wind in any case was not strong enough for boats to stem the current.

Instead numerous members came down for a drink and a sandwich, all hoping that sailing would be possible next week. Thanks to the staff for providing both.

The tide came up later, and the water came right round the back of the club house, but fortunately not into the undercroft.

Crossed fingers for next week. There is no rain forecast, so that the Enterprise and Merlin Traveller series can get under way.
